Sarah & Matti

 MARRIAGE ASSOCIATION

EST. 4 JAN 2025

Our Wedding

Join us for the establishment of the Sarah and Matti Marriage Association (SAMMA), on January 4th, 2025, in Ottawa, Ontario.

As you may know, for work Matti and Sarah attend a lot of academic association conferences. Now, they get to host their very own, with only their favourite people and fun parts included, and none of the boring keynotes. *

We are so excited to have you!

*We are not to be held responsible for any bad speeches.

Once, as a young whippersnapper (read: graduate student), Matti stayed at the Saintlo Ottawa Jail Hostel, a 150-year-old renovated prison where he slept in an updated jail cell. If you really want to lean into the historic nature of Ottawa’s venues, this is, of course, also an option.

Q&A

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is black tie optional.

is there a gift registry?

The best gift is your presence.
For those inclined, we have also established a gift registry
here.

Should I bring my children?

We are only having children from our immediate family at our wedding. If you would like to discuss bringing breastfeeding children or bringing children due to travel or other special circumstances, please get in touch!
Thank you for understanding.

Will your dog Rollo be there?

We know that you are all wondering… only if Matti gets his way.
So, almost certainly not.
